Why Kirakira
The team, after consulting with young residents of Makira who are currently living in Honiara, has recognized the significance of involving the youth in Kirakira, Makira Province, in this Noise Campaign. We plan to organize a one-day workshop in Kirakira specifically for the local youth. This workshop will concentrate on various key topics including leadership qualities, governance, the importance of fact-checking information, and the significance of voting for young people. It will also emphasize why it is crucial for the youth to advocate for and participate in fair and transparent elections.
Workshop In Kirakira
The workshop in Kirakira is aimed at young individuals aged between 19 and 30. It will be facilitated by team members from Youth For Change Solomon Islands (YFCSI). participation in a clean democracy, with a specific emphasis on the concept of “Clean Elections.” The discussion will highlight the importance of developing a mindset that supports clean elections from an early age, particularly during high school years.
Youth Tok Stori In Waimapuru
The Youth Tok Stori event at Waimapuru National Secondary School (WNSS) will feature a representative from the Youth For Change Team, along with a student representative from Waimapuru National Secondary School. The focus of this event will be on encouraging youth participation in a clean democracy, with a specific emphasis on the concept of “Clean Elections.” The discussion will highlight the importance of developing a mindset that supports clean elections from an early age, particularly during high school years.
